Historic Cell Phone Call

April 3 marks the 35th anniversary of the first public cellular phone call, when Motorola Communications Systems Division GM Martin Cooper used a prototype of the DynaTAC model to call Joel Engel, chief of the research department at Bell Labs, from the streets of Manhattan.
